It is official, there is now a debut date for the upcoming Basque dub of Dragon Ball Super.
The new dub will be released on October 24th.

Crunchyroll to release Dragon Ball Super Broly Blu-Ray Steelbook in the UK
Over a month ago a listing was spotted on Crunchyroll’s site for a new Dragon Ball Super Broly Blu-Ray steelbook to be released in North America.
Now listings have been spotted on Amazon UK, Anime-On-Line and Rarewaves for what appears to be a regional repackaging of this release.
Crunchyroll in the UK was formerly known as Funimation, and Manga UK before that. The latter released a steelbook for this movie back in 2019.
It remains to be seen whether this release will contain the US Funimation disc or the Manga UK disc, which doesn’t have the green tint, although considering the fact the Dragon Ball Z Complete Series set last year used the US discs rather than the UK ones that seems to be becoming the new precedent for these releases.

20 years ago today Dragon Ball Z returned to Finland for the last time
September 18th was the day that SubTV announced the final batch of Dragon Ball Z episodes (the first three were episodes 1-57, 58-100 and 101-123) back in 2005.
This was exciting news for fans at the time as the channel had stopped airing any episodes of the show, including reruns since Christmas eve the year before.
With the exception of Battle of Gods earlier this year this was the last time any piece of content with the “Dragon Ball Z” branding was released in Finland, and when it comes to the TV series it was the last time to date.
Indeed when we asked on Reddit if any fans would like to see Dragon Ball Z return to Finland one expressed doubt that there would be any excitement for such happening, while another user wished for recordings of the show on SubTV to turn up.
While the aforementioned press release is no longer on SubTV (now MTVSub)’s website fans luckily quoted it on a local forum:

Selecta Vision to release fourth box set for Dragon Ball Kai
Selecta Vision has recently posted about their upcoming Dragon Ball Kai Blu-Ray DVD and Blu-Ray boxsets on Twitter/X.
This new volume, which contains episodes 55-76 with dubs in Spanish, Catalan, Galician and Basque will be released on October 3rd.
Considering the number of episodes per box set the next volume after this should be the final release for the first 98 episodes of Kai before Selecta Vision move on to The Final Chapters, which fans can check out on streaming platform Anime Box, or on Comedy Central from September 15th at 2pm.

Crunchyroll releasing new Dragon Ball Super Broly Steelbox in the US
A listing for a Dragon Ball Super : Broly Blu-Ray steelbook has appeared on Crunchyroll’s store.
This new edition of the movie is set to be released on November 4th of this year, and is available for the pre-order price of $31.98.
This is not the first time the movie has had a steelbook release, as Manga UK previously released such a variant for region B.
This will be the first steelbook release of the movie in North America.
It is however likely that this will be a repackage of the North American Blu-Ray, as such the green tint (which Funimation denied being there) that was absent from the UK release will remain present.

German dub of Dragon Ball Daima coming
So far European territories have been quiet regarding international dubs of Dragon Ball Daima, aside from the recent Albanian dub, although it’s looking like that is slowly about to change.
My friend Tian has spotted a post in a German forum that says Daima is currently being dubbed.
Tian has provided the above information to the Kanzenshuu forums in English as follows:
This will not be Daima’s debut in Germany, as French streaming service ADN made the series available subbed, but this will be the first time German fans can enjoy the series in their own language.
No TV broadcast has been announced, but it is possible Daima will air on RTLII, which began airing the original series in 1999 and began rerunning it two years ago. ProSiebenn MAXX is another contender as they reran Dragon Ball Super within the last few weeks.
In any case watch this space for further updates regarding Dragon Ball in Germany.

Dragon Ball Super Danish dub season 2 wraps up
This week only 1 new episode of Dragon Ball Super has been uploaded to Danmarks Radio’s DR TV app with none scheduled for next week.
This marks the first time since April 11th that less than 3 new episodes have been released a week, so it appears the current season has concluded.
As it was previously confirmed 49 new episodes had been licensed this should not come as a surprise.
DR has yet to confirm whether or not more episodes of the show will be released.

Dragon Ball Super episodes 73-75 uploaded to the DRTV app
The “nine weeks of peace arc” (as coined by one fan) is approaching its end in the Danish dub of Dragon Ball Super, with episodes 73-75 have been uploaded to Danmarks Radio’s DR TV app.
With the addition of these episodes the Danish dub is quickly approaching the Tournament of Power arc.
Previously director Jan Tellefsen confirmed 49 more episodes had been licensed, which would mean Danmarks Radio have the rights to dub 1 more episode at least. However if more than 1 new episode airs next week that will indeed mean further episodes have been licensed.

Dragon Ball Daima Taiwanese Mandarin dub has begun
A few weeks ago a promo was released and shared on Youtube for the Taiwanese Mandarin dub of Dragon Ball Daima.
As of yesterday the show has begun its run in the Chinese territory on the EBC etmovie channel.
According to the channel’s own schedule Dragon Ball Daima was shown at 8pm on Saturday and 6:50pm on Sunday of this week (July 19th and 20th respectively).
Next week Dragon Ball Daima will be shown from 7pm-9pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
This marks the fifth official Asian dub of Dragon Ball Daima after the debut of the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubs (all of which premiered on November 9, 2024) and the Korean dub (which premiered on April 19, 2025), and the first dub for any Chinese territories.

Dragon Ball Super episodes 70-72 uploaded to the DRTV app
The current run of Dragon Ball Super in Denmark approaches the Tournament of Power arc with the addition of episodes 70-72 to the DR TV app.
The Danish dub is currently in the middle of what one fan has referred to as “the nine weeks of peace arc” and should reach the aforementioned next arc in two weeks.
Expect episodes 73-75 this day next week.
