Dragon Ball Daima Cantonese dub has begun streaming on Viu TV

Upon its release in Japan the most recent instalment of the anime Dragon Ball Daima was available to Hong Kong residents subbed, but now it appears the same platform (Viu TV) has dubbed the series in the Cantonese language.

According to a recent Instagram post the first 5 episodes of Dragon Ball Daima were released on Viu TV on December 5th at 12pm.

Additionally it seems that this release will follow the same pattern as the Albanian dub by releasing 5 episodes a week, meaning the entire series should be available in Cantonese by December 26th.

This marks the second dub of Dragon Ball Daima for Chinese territories with the first being the Mandarin dub, which premiered July 19, 2025 on the EBC etmovie channel.

It is not known whether the series will get a dub in mainland China but it’s unlikely since none of the TV anime have been dubbed there since the Liaoyi dub of original Dragon Ball in 1998-2000, although Resurrection F and Broly received dubs.
