Fellow French Dragon Ball dubbing actor Patrick Borg has announced on Facebook that his friend and long-time co-star Éric Legrand has passed away at the age of 66.

The above can be translated as:
“Farewell to my friend,
ERIC LEGRAND
You were calling me ;
“ my fat turkey “
I liked it, made me laugh. I used to call you my queen ! It had you rattling like a fat turkey.
For months, we have been writing each other on WhatsApp until last Monday, May 19th in the morning, you will be transferred to a palliative care service…
you’ve stopped answering me
45+ years of friendship and 40 years together on;
DRAGON BALL Z.
Your fans will miss you…
But I’ll miss you deeply!
I’m. tired of losing friends.
You have shown exemplary courage, you are a true Sayen Vegeta!
ERIC LEGRAND, you were a real Sayen!
Sunday evening, you wrote to me the following word in parentheses:
(Getting transferred to Palliative Care Unit on Monday. I hope it will be very soon next.. 🖐)
I will not forget you!
i am unhappy, very unhappy …
Farewell my friend. “

A Latin American news site for anime has announced that in July the channel Pakapaka will begin airing Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball July in Argentina.
The series are being brought to the channel alongside other TOEI Animation titles like World Trigger and Dragon Quest: Adventure of Dai.
Dragon Ball Z can be seen in the region on Adult Swim and through Crunchyroll, but Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT are not on any Argentine TV channels, so both series will receive wider exposure, although they can still be seen weekends at 11am on Paraguayan channel La Tele.

Additionally the channel will also air a youth program with streaming aesthetics titled “Gen Z” that will be dedicated to Dragon Ball fans.
No date has been scheduled, but watch this space for further updates.

This is not the first time any Dragon Ball content was available on the platform as the original series, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super are all available for purchase.
The fact these episodes are packaged as “Collection One” could also be an indication that Crunchyroll plans to release them in a home release down the line, along with a “Collection Two” for the last 10 episodes.
