Selecta Vision has recently posted about their upcoming Dragon Ball Kai Blu-Ray DVD and Blu-Ray boxsets on Twitter/X.
This new volume, which contains episodes 55-76 with dubs in Spanish, Catalan, Galician and Basque will be released on October 3rd.
Considering the number of episodes per box set the next volume after this should be the final release for the first 98 episodes of Kai before Selecta Vision move on to The Final Chapters, which fans can check out on streaming platform Anime Box, or on Comedy Central from September 15th at 2pm.
Selecta Vision’s streaming platform Anime Box has, in the last few months began releasing Dragon Ball Kai and the original Dragon Ball for customers wanting to watch either series on demand.
The classic TOEI anime trilogy was announced all at once, but now there is a release date for Dragon Ball Z on the platform – November 8th.
As Anime Box reveals on Instagram:
The above can be translated as:
“Dragon Ball Z arrives on November 8th at AnimeBox! π
Every Friday, a new saga of the series of your life, Rewatch the most epic battles in the best quality! π₯
From 11/8 you can enjoy the adventure in its original version and with Spanish, Catalan, Galician and Basque dubbing, and later also in Valencian ποΈ
Dragon Ball Z recently ran on Spanish TV channel Comedy Central between September 18, 2023 and May 24th this year.
This is fantastic news for Spanish fans just looking for a convenient way to watch the show in high quality for a low monthly price.
Another Spanish streaming service will now stream not only original Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z but also Dragon Ball Super.
VOD platform Makusi announced these acquisitions in a tweet.
his marks the second new Spanish dub of Dragon Ball Super announced this year, as a Catalan dub was announced in June, and the third new Dragon Ball dub following Selecta Vision releasing a Castilian dub of Kai.
The Basque dubs of original Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z aired on ETB1 (Euskal Telebista) in the early 90s to great acclaim.
As such this will be great news for Dragon Ball fans in Spain, with the series being distributed to even wider audiences within the country.

We reported today that the Basque and Galician dubs became available for Dragon Ball Kai on Selecta Vision’s video-on-demand service Anime Box.
Additionally today the Cell saga has become available on the platform.
The above comment Anime Box posted yesterday, as translated by Google can be read as:
π “Dragon Ball Z Kai Update: The Cell Saga starts tomorrow 13/09, and will do it with Spanish, Catalan, Galician and Euskera dubbing!
From Monday 16th all episodes published up to the date of #DBZKai will also feature Euskera and Galician dubbing, which were missing to be included.”
This will likely mean all 98 episodes of Dragon Ball Kai (excluding The Final Chapters, which can technically be counted as a separate show) are now available to view for Spanish audiences.

Previously Selecta Vision’s streaming platform Anime Box began releasing Dragon Ball Kai for Spanish audiences with a new Castilian dub.
Now it has been revealed that from September 16th (which is next Monday) Euskera and Galician will be added as audio tracks.
These language options are now available for the first 13 episodes of original Dragon Ball, which were added recently, but were absent from Kai on the service.
The previous Dragon Ball series also received Euskera (known as Basque natively) dubbing, as well as Galician, and the original series first 13 episodes is currently available in the language.
Further episodes will be available at a later stage, as well as the Valencian dub.
