4Anime have announced that today (June 10th) the first episode of the latest anime series Dragon Ball Daima will be released on the 4AnimePlay app.
4Anime previously aired Kurdish dubs of Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super as well as Dragon Ball movies 1-4, Dragon Ball Z movies 1-8 and the 2 Dragon Ball Super movies on their linear channel.
Following this tradition, albeit on a streaming platform a Kurdish dub of Dragon Ball Daima can be expected.
The Iraq channel, which has been broadcasting Kurdish dubs of the franchise since Dragon Ball Z premiered on their channel in 2019 is once again teasing Dragon Ball Daima.
While a dub is not confirmed there is no precedent for 4Anime airing subtitled content, so it would stand to reason Dragon Ball Daima would be no different.
“Akira Toriyama left us his last gift before he died,, in just 30 minutes … the great world of Dragon Ball expanded 10 times this year’s amazing surprise of the anime world of Dragon Ball Daima. Dragon Ball – Dragon Ball – 2013 – 2014 – 2015 – 2016 – 2017 – 2018 – New season✨ coming soon …wait 😍 #4animetvhd”
The last anime in this franchise Dragon Ball Super was rerun on 4Anime earlier this year and concluded on July 7th, so expect Dragon Ball Daima to be aired more than once, especially if the ratings are good.
Even more interestingly, when Super Hero was being promoted an image was shared of the movie poster with letters from the Arabic alphabet (a notable feature of Kurdish).
4Anime is currently using these letters on the image they shared for Dragon Ball Daima. Of course this could merely be 4Anime engaging with their followers by asking are they excited, although evidently they are willing to put their mark on it, which could mean they are looking into it already.
It’s worth noting other than Taiwan, Israel was the first known international territory to receive a dub of the previous series Dragon Ball Super, so it would not be unusual should a Kurdish dub from Iraq become one of the first countries where Daima airs. Israel’s premier also came 14 months after Super premiered in Japan, so assuming there is a similar gap between 4Anime announcing Super Hero and airing it viewers could very well be looking at a timeframe of summer to august 2025 for the new TV anime being released natively.
In any case when there are updates on the Kurdish dub and 4Anime we will continue to share it.
