Recently theatrical listings have been spotted for the upcoming TV anime Dragon Ball Daima, suggesting the first 2 or 3 episodes will be coming to the United States on November 10, 2024.

Additionally listings spotted at Minnesota-based St Michael Cinema those screenings will be dubbed.

These screenings are the first known release date for the English dub of Dragon Ball Daima, and the first time since the 2018 theatrical release of Bardock : The Father of Goku the TV anime has been shown in US theatres.
Indeed this will be the first time any of the episodes of the series have been screened at US cinemas since Bardock : The Father of Goku is a TV special that is not part of the 291-episode anime (Dragon Ball Z) it aired with on Fuji TV. The special has been mismarketed as a movie, but it is effectively a special extended episode of the series.
As the first 4 episodes of Dragon Ball Kai were recently shown theatrically in Spain and 2 episodes of Dragon Ball Super got screenings in Portugal a precedent has been set.
Nonetheless the Dragon Ball Daima screenings are the first of its kind for the US, which has never had any of the standard TV episodes shown in theatres.
It certainly demonstrates confidence. Expect an Akira Toriyama memorial, as Dragon Ball Daima is his last known work.
Should there be any international screenings we will be sure to report on them.
In its native Japan, Dragon Ball Daima will premier October 11th at 11:40pm as part of a new anime block on Fuji TV.
