
It’s official, Dragon Ball Daima is a monster success for Netflix in a grand total of 42 countries across the globe, with the new installment of the long running franchise topping the charts in 5 of those territories.
As of the week October 21st-27th Dragon Ball Daima is Netflix’s second most watched show globally with 3,200,000 viewers.
In the top spot is Deceitful Love, and with other anime like Dan Da Dan and Ranma 1/2 also taking up slots at number 3 and 6 the medium seems as popular as ever for the streaming giant.
Among the 42 countries Dragon Ball Daima reached the number 1 spot in Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Malaysia and Vietnam.
Unsurprisingly Latin America is the region with the most territories Dragon Ball Daima claimed a top 10 spot with 19 countries, as the Goku vs Jiren fight in Dragon Ball Super drew massive crowds. So Dragon Ball is as popular as ever in South America.
In Dragon Ball’s native Asia there were 14 territories where the new anime reached Netflix’s top 10.
In any case the franchise continues to be a bona-fide pop culture phenomenon.
