Danish dub of Dragon Ball Super to premier October 18th on DR Ultra

It has been months since the announcement Dragon Ball Super would be returning to Denmark with little updates, but now a debut date has been confirmed.

Kanzenshuu veteran sangofe has received an update from Danmarks Radio about their plans to bring the 2015 TOEI anime to Denmark.

The show will start on October 18th, and episodes 1-27 will be released on the DR Ultra app. All episodes will be dubbed in Danish.

DR Ultra, which became an online platform only in 2020 was the last channel to air any Dragon Ball content in Denmark over 10 years ago.

This will also mark the second time a Danish company has licensed any of the TV anime, as Dragon Ball Z was the only series to be shown prior to Super.

Luckily sangofe was also told if numbers were good for Dragon Ball Super, Danmarks Radio would buy more Dragon Ball content.

As such this could be a great opportunity for a revival of the franchise in the Scandinavian territory.
