More information on the Dragon Ball Daima German dub

The Dragon Ball Daima German dub has recently begun with the first two episodes premiering Friday and Saturday respectively on TOGGO Plus and episode 3 just aired.

The dub features a complete recast since it is being recorded in Münich, unlike original Dragon Ball, which was recorded in Cologne, and Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Kai, Dragon Ball Super and the movies, which were all dubbed in Berlin.

The recording studio is Transperfekt Media Germany and the dialogue was written by Nicolle Gonsior.

AniSearch has asked RTL for a statement regarding whether or not the German dub of Dragon Ball Daima will air on linear TV but it is scheduled to stream on RTL+ on September 25th.

It has also been reported that Mr Popo was cut out off the first episode despite being mentioned in the credits:

As episode 4 will debut tomorrow a new episode seems to drop every day.

Dragon Ball Super Danish Dub Wraps Up

Dragon Ball Super episodes 128-131 have just been uploaded to the DR TV app.

This marks one additional episode as three episodes have been uploaded every week for season 3 of Dragon Ball Super in Denmark.

With the addition of these four episodes Dragon Ball has a complete Danish dub for the first time ever.

The four episodes are natively titled:

128. Ære og stolthed til det sidste! Vejitas sidste kamp!

129. Hinsides alle grænser! Det autonome Ultra Instinct bliver mestret!

130. Det største opgør nogensinde! Den ultimative overlevelseskamp!

131. En mirakuløs afslutning! Farvel, Son-Goku! Til vi ses igen!

It is not known whether or not Danmarks Radio (DR) will dub any more Dragon Ball content.

Dragon Ball Super episodes 125-127 uploaded to the DR TV app

Denmark is very close to having a complete Danish Dragon Ball dub with the 3 episodes that have been added to the DR TV app.

As of today (August 14th) Dragon Ball Super episodes 125-127 are now available in Danish.

These 3 episodes are natively titled:

125. En altoverskyggende styrke! Udsletterguden Toppo bliver født!

126. Hinsides en gud! Vejitas selvopofrende angreb!

127. Muren nærmer sig! Alt håb hviler på en sidste barriere!

Next week could see the release of episodes 128-130 with the final episode following the week after, as season 2 ended with a single episode released on August 1, 2025, but only time will tell.

Dragon Ball Daima German dub to be released on August 28th

Recently it was announced that RTL Consumer Products would be taking over the marketing of the Dragon Ball brand as part of a strategic plan for the franchises continued growth in popularity throughout Europe, as envisioned by TOEI Animation.

As part of that plan it was revealed that a German dub of the latest anime series Dragon Ball Daima would be coming to TOGGO Plus and then to RTL+, although at the time there was no release date.

That has changed now however with the most recent update in RTL’s press release.

New episodes of Dragon Ball Daima will be set to premier August 28th from Monday to Friday at 9:15pm.

Following on from this the episodes will be available on RTL+ and TOGGO’s website from September 25th.

This will mark the first European dub of Dragon Ball Daima to be released since the Albanian dub last year.

Dragon Ball Super episodes 122-124 uploaded to the DR TV app

With today’s addition of 3 more episodes to the Dragon Ball Super Danish dub there is only 7 more to go until the dub is completed.

The episodes uploaded were 122-124 and they have been natively titled:

123. Frigør din krop, sjæl og styrke! Son-Goku og Vejita!

Manolo Solo (Manuel Jesús Fernández Serrano) passes away

Last week actor Manolo Solo (real name Manuel Jesús Fernández Serrano) passed away at the age of 62.

The actor known for playing Beerus and #17 in the Castilian dub of Dragon Ball died on Thursday from cancer.

Solo won a Goya Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film Tarde para la ira.

The stage name Solo came from his childhood desire to be a rock star, in addition to his work as an actor he was a singer, bassist and guitarist of the rock band Los Relicarios.

Solo was also a theatre actor, performing in the documentary plays Ruz-Bárcenas (2013) and El Rey (2015), both of which were adapted to films.

Within Dragon Ball, Solo is also known for playing Tao Pai Pai, Silver Horn, Mr. Popo, Gregory, Zarbon (first voice), Jheese, Oob (Dragon Ball GT episodes 32 onward), Bon Para and Nappa in Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

Solo is the second actor that played #17 to pass away this year after Figueira Junior in the Brazilian Portuguese dub).

Dragon Ball GT returns to Mangas on August 24, 2026

It was recently announced that Dragon Ball GT would begin airing again on the French channel Mangas, although at the time no premier date or timeslot was revealed, until now.

Just the other day however Mediawan Thematics (who own AB Groupe) announced that Dragon Ball GT will air August 24, 2026 at 6:05pm.

It has been said that a “HD remaster” will be broadcast. As Selecta Vision is releasing a Dragon Ball GT Blu-Ray in Spain in October it is possible that this will be the video source that is used.

Dragon Ball Super episodes 119-121 uploaded to the DR TV app

With this week’s 3 new episodes of the Dragon Ball Super Danish dub the latest Nordic dub in the series draws closer to its conclusion with less than a month left to go.

As of today (July 31st) episodes 119-121 have just been uploaded to the DR TV app.

The 3 episodes are natively titled:

119. Umulig at undvige?! Det vilde overraskelsesangreb!

120. En perfekt overlevelsesstrategi! Det tredje univers’ frygtindgydende lejemorder!

121. Giv alt, hvad I har! Den ultimative firdobbelte fusion mod det syvende univers!

Episodes 122-124 will likely be released next week with the dub wrapping up on August 21st or 28th.

Just this morning Dragon Ball Super episodes 116-118 have been uploaded to the DR TV app.
