Yesterday Disney+ announced on Facebook and Instagram that Dragon Ball Super was now streaming in the UK and Ireland.
This is not the first time that a Dragon Ball series has been on the platform as Dragon Ball Kai was added a few weeks ago.
Additionally both series have been available to stream on Crunchyroll and were released on DVD and Blu-Ray by the company formerly known as Manga UK (now Crunchyroll in the UK and Ireland).
There have been several local releases of Dragon Ball Super on both physical formats, that includes the Parts and two Complete Series by Manga UK in addition to steelbooks and a more recent Complete Series by Crunchyroll with their branding.
Dragon Ball Kai and Dragon Ball Super also aired on national TV through the channels Kix and Pop respectively. The latter is now airing on GREAT! Action.
Dragon Ball Super’s addition to Disney+ will no doubt bring the series to a much wider audience.
A remake of Dragon Ball Super is scheduled for release later this year, but its international releases are not yet known.
