Previously it was reported that Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods would be screened in France, but recently listings have been spotted in other French-speaking territories curiously on the same date.
Luxembourg and Belgium will both be receiving screenings of the movie on March 8, 2025.
Fans in both territories would be familiar with Dragon Ball from the broadcasts on Club RTL and MCM in 1995-1996 and the late 90s respectively.
A week after that comes Poland, and although we have been told privately Studio PDK creates Polish subs for the distributor Piece of Magic Entertainment, and have been requesting them to order a dub we have not been able to double source this information, so for now it’s best to take it with a grain of salt.
The final territory for this new theatrical run is Germany, which opens on March 18th with further screenings that weekend on March 22nd and 23rd and includes dub screenings.
This is great news, as many of these countries have never received Battle of Gods in theatres and will provide fans with another chance to catch the first movie of Dragon Ball’s revival era on the big screen.
As we reported previously the Dutch distributor Piece of Magic Entertainment will be screening the 14th Dragon Ball Z movie and first of the revival era Battle of Gods in select European countries.
Now it seems that the movie will be returning to screens in France where it was only shown briefly in the past.
Paris-based media firm AlloCiné have reportedBattle of Gods will be returning to French screens on March 8th and 9th 2025.
While the movie did not get a wide theatrical release in France, it was shown on at least two occasions at the Grand Rex, once with sequel Resurrection F, and again with both Resurrection F and Broly.
Dragon Ball has long been a cultural phenomenon in France, and there’s no doubt there will be much excitement for these screenings.
