  • Spain to receive first ever Blu-Ray release of Dragon Ball GT

    20 years into the formats history and just in time for the 30th anniversary of the series it has just been announced that Dragon Ball GT will be receiving a Blu-Ray release.

    This upcoming release will be in Spain from distributor Selecta Vision, who have released a lot of Dragon Ball content on home video in the country, including recent Blu-Rays of not just the original Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z but also Dragon Ball Kai and the movies.

    No release date is yet known but Selecta Vision distributed posters at the Manga Barcelona 2025 event announcing this release.

    These posters were leaked by a user named Vercery on forums and a fan contacted Selecta Vision to verify the information.

    Furthermore a user named Bicho_86 supplied the image below, which went unnoticed by the Spanish fanbase for a few days following the announcement.

    Suffice to say Selecta Vision did confirm the news, so soon Spanish fans can look forward to completing their classic anime trilogies on a HD format.

  • Selecta Vision confirms European Spanish dub of Dragon Ball Daima set to be released in 2026

    It was just announced at the Selecta Vision conference at Manga Barcelona (the most important fair for the medium of manga in Spain) that Dragon Ball Daima will be released in 2026 with Spanish dubbing.

    Up until now the series has only been available in Spain in Japanese with Spanish subtitles, but this means that local fans can enjoy the series in their native tongue.

    This is fantastic news, not only for Spanish fans that wanted a local dub but also those that like to own Dragon Ball on physical media as Selecta Vision releases the series on DVD and Blu-Ray with the most recent addition being their releases of Dragon Ball Kai (another show with a long-awaited European Spanish dub).

  • European Spanish dub of Dragon Ball Kai: The Final Chapters begins on Monday

    Spanish distributor Selecta Vision has announced they will be releasing Dragon Ball Kai: The Final Chapters on their streaming service Anime Box on March 24th (Monday).

    From this point a new episode will drop every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

    The series will be available with Spanish, Catalan and Galician dubs.

    The first part of Dragon Ball Kai begun on July 5th last year in Spain, on the same service.

    Fans that like the retro feel of traditional TV also got to see Dragon Ball Kai on Comedy Central since Monday (March 17th) at 5:30pm.

    As such this has been a great week, and year for fans of Dragon Ball Kai in Spain.

  • Spanish Dragon Ball fans awaiting Daima dub and want Dasara Producciones to continue the job

    According to an article from a Spanish Dragon Ball reporter native fans are still awaiting a local dub for the most recent TV anime Dragon Ball Daima.

    While fans have been receiving episodes on Anime Box and Crunchyroll every Friday, but Dragon Ball Daima, in their country remains shown in Japanese with Spanish subtitles.

    Accordingly, Dasara Producciones with Mercedes Hoyos directing have delighted fans with their dubs of Dragon Ball Super, and more recently Dragon Ball Kai, even pleasing Latin American fans that have traditionally been more critical of the Iberian Spanish dubs.

    In January of this year the Latin American Spanish dub was showcased by distributor Corazón Films in Mexican theatres for the press and guests, but in Europe there has been no news.

    Fans that reached out were asked would they like Dasara Producciones to dub Dragon Ball Super and why, which received positive responses, as Antonio Sánchez-Migallón Jiménez cites:

  • Selecta Vision announce giveaway for classic Dragon Ball anime trilogy on DVD and silicone case for PlayStation 5

    Selecta Vision, the Spanish distributor of Dragon Ball on home video and their streaming service Anime Box have partnered up with FR Tech Gaming to give fans the chance to win some great prizes.

  • Netflix Spain to stream Dragon Ball Kai

    It has been noted that Dragon Ball Kai is set to be streamed on Netflix in Spain.

    This will not be the first platform for Kai to be released on in Spain as Selecta Vision’s Anime Box began to stream the series in July.

    As a new Castilian Spanish dub began earlier this year it is likely that this will be the local language track used.

  • Dragon Ball Kai artificial humans and original Dragon Ball 21st Tenkaichi Budokai arcs coming to Anime Box in Spain

    As of writing this article episode 56 of Dragon Ball Kai has been uploaded to Selecta Vision’s streaming platform in Spain known as Anime Box.

    With a new episode released every weekday, tomorrow will see the release of episode 57 (titled Welcome Back Son Goku! The Confession of the Mysterious Young Boy Trunks) with the new Castilian Spanish dub.

    Additionally the VOD platform has more catalogue content with further episodes of original Dragon Ball being released every Friday. Today’s update was a reminder for viewers the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai will be released in 4 days.
