As the distributor Piece of Magic Entertainment announced two weeks agoBattle of Gods would be screening in over 25 European countries, that number has now been reached as the movie is scheduled to be screened in 26 countries throughout the continent.
Finnish fans will be familiar with Dragon Ball from the 2003-2007 broadcasts on SubTV (now MTV Sub) and the local manga releases.
It has just been announced Switzerland will also get screenings of the 14th Dragon Ball Z movie Battle of Gods (originally known as Kami To Kami).
The two screenings, which tickets are already on sale for will be held on March 1st and 2nd at 3:30pm and 1pm respectively.
The previous two movies Dragon Ball Super : Broly and Dragon Ball Super : Super Hero were released in Swiss theatres on March 20, 2019 and August 30, 2022 respectively.
Although Battle of Gods was screened in several countries back in 2013-2014 neither it nor its sequel Resurrection ‘F’ were ever screened in Switzerland, but now natives have a chance to see it on the big screen.
Previously it was reported that Danmarks Radio were in negotiations for further episodes of Dragon Ball Super.
Now, it appears that the broadcasting and streaming giant who have been the home of Dragon Ball in Denmark since its debut have sealed the deal.
In a new post on the Dragon Ball DK Facebook page it was said that Jan Tellefsen, the director of the Danish Dragon Ball dubs revealed at the J-Popcon held on February 14th-16th that 49 new episodes have been licensed.
This new batch of episodes will bring the total number of episodes in the Danish dub of Dragon Ball Super to 76. As such Danish fans can expect to see the entire Universe 6 and Goku Black arcs in their native tongue.
There is no release date for the new episodes, but following the debut of One Piece episodes 1-30, 31-45, 46-53 and 54-61 on October 11th, November 8th, December 6th and December 20th respectively it is possible they will also come soon and in small batches over the coming months.
It was never officially confirmed why the Danish dub of Dragon Ball Z was never complete, but reportedly fans were told by Danmarks Radio it was a very hard, time consuming and expensive process, so the fact they are picking up a huge number of Dragon Ball Super episodes and investing in another long running anime certainly shows commitment and bodes well for their relationship with TOEI Animation.
Selecta Vision, the Spanish distributor of Dragon Ball on home video and their streaming service Anime Box have partnered up with FR Tech Gaming to give fans the chance to win some great prizes.
In a recent post the company unveiled a complete collection of the classic anime trilogy Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT on DVD as well as a silicone case for the PlayStation 5: by FR Tech Gaming.
On Monday of this week (February 3, 2025) AnimeBox, Selecta Vision’s streaming service was to bring the third anime of the original Dragon Ball trilogy – Dragon Ball GT to Spanish audiences.
It appears that the series has arrived early, as Spanish Dragon Ball enthusiast Antonio Kaytos reported it became available on January 24th.
Additionally the Dragon Ball Z midquel Dragon Ball Super will become available on February 28th, at which point all the series will be available to stream on the platform.
The “Nuevos Episodios de lunes a viernes” above can be translated as “New Episodes from Monday to Friday”, which makes sense as AnimeBox has been adding new episodes on a daily basis like a traditional broadcaster.
