  • Dragon Ball Super episodes 89-91 uploaded to the DR TV app

As of Friday (May 22nd) 3 more episodes of Dragon Ball Super have been added to the DR TV app.

The addition of these 3 episodes brings the total number of episodes released for the Danish dub of Dragon Ball Super to 91.

Episodes 92-94 can be expected next Friday (May 29th).

  • Dragon Ball Kai comes to Disney+ in the UK

The UK is now following in the footsteps of Canada with the release of Dragon Ball Kai on Disney+.

As of today the first 2 seasons are available to stream on the platform with English dub option and the Japanese credits for the OP and ED.

Unsurprisingly it is the Funimation dub that has been added, and not the never released Ocean dub.

This is not the first time Dragon Ball Kai has been on a streaming service in the UK, as it was previously added to Crunchyroll.

The series also aired on Kix between 2012 and 2015, and was released on DVD and Blu-Ray by Manga UK in 2015, albeit with the original Kenji Yamamoto score on the DVDs for episodes 1-13 and 27-39 and episodes 1-39 on the Blu-Rays.

Every other release of Dragon Ball Kai in the UK has used the replacement Shunsuke Kikuchi score due to the plagiarism scandal that occurred in 2011.

  • Dragon Ball Super episodes 86-88 uploaded to the DR TV app

As of last Friday (May 15th) three more episodes of Dragon Ball Super have been added to the DR TV app in Denmark.

That brings the total number of episodes for the Danish dub released to 88.

Episodes 89-91 should be expected Friday this week (May 22nd).

  • Dragon Ball Super episodes 83-85 uploaded to the DRTV app

A further 3 episodes of Dragon Ball Super have just been released in Denmark in the native language.

Episodes 83-85 are now available on the DR TV app using the new dub produced by DR and recorded at KM Studio.

Next week episodes 86-88 can be expected on the service.

If this dub runs to completion it will be the first time a Dragon Ball TV anime has been dubbed fully in Danish since the old Dragon Ball Z dub was incomplete.

  • Dragon Ball Super to return to UK TV on GREAT! Action

It has been announced that the UK TV channel GREAT! Action will air Dragon Ball Super.

The 2015 TOEI TV anime will premier on the channel May 5th at 11pm.

GREAT! Action is owned by Narrative Entertainment, who also owned Pop, the channel that had been airing Dragon Ball Super in the UK and Ireland on and off since 2019.

Pop last aired Dragon Ball Super in the early hours of January 1st this year, although it was still available through Pop Up, which still had an EPG channel number and programme listings.

Dragon Ball Super will also be available to stream on GREAT! Player.

  • Dragon Ball Super episodes 80-82 uploaded to the DRTV app

Following on from last week’s debut of Dragon Ball Super episodes 77-79 in Danish, the 3 episodes after that have been uploaded to the DRTV app.

The episodes currently being uploaded are part of season 3 in the Danish dub.

Expect episodes 83-85 to follow next week on May 8th as DR has been very consistent with their release schedule.

  • Season 3 of the Dragon Ball Super Danish dub begins

Previously it was announced that there would be new episodes of the Dragon Ball Super Danish dub in spring.

Yesterday fans were rewarded for their patience with the first 3 episodes of what will be known as season 3 in Denmark.

Presumably episodes 80-82 will follow next week and the same pattern will resume until the end of the series.

  • DR confirms April return for Dragon Ball Super Danish dub

Kanzenshuu user HinKyto has once more received an update from DR regarding the Dragon Ball Super Danish dub.

According to a recent post on the section of the forum dedicated to Dragon Ball Super DR has confirmed not only that they are working on new episodes but that they will be released in April.

We previously reported that DR hoped to finish dubbing Dragon Ball Super by spring 2026, although it was unclear whether this meant episodes 77-131 would be dubbed in full by then or all streamed.

However, a recent post on the Facebook group Dragon Ball DK by top contributor Casper Vestergaard Jensen indicates that the entirety of this batch of episodes may indeed come to the DRTV streaming service before the summer.

In any case this will mean that for the first time ever there is a complete series Danish dub for one of the Dragon Ball TV anime as DR’s dub of Dragon Ball Z was never complete.

  • Dragon Ball Super airs for the last time on Pop in the UK

  • Spain to receive first ever Blu-Ray release of Dragon Ball GT

20 years into the formats history and just in time for the 30th anniversary of the series it has just been announced that Dragon Ball GT will be receiving a Blu-Ray release.

This upcoming release will be in Spain from distributor Selecta Vision, who have released a lot of Dragon Ball content on home video in the country, including recent Blu-Rays of not just the original Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z but also Dragon Ball Kai and the movies.

No release date is yet known but Selecta Vision distributed posters at the Manga Barcelona 2025 event announcing this release.

These posters were leaked by a user named Vercery on forums and a fan contacted Selecta Vision to verify the information.

Furthermore a user named Bicho_86 supplied the image below, which went unnoticed by the Spanish fanbase for a few days following the announcement.

Suffice to say Selecta Vision did confirm the news, so soon Spanish fans can look forward to completing their classic anime trilogies on a HD format.
